Our Scenic Day Heated Sleigh Ride is all about enjoying the beautiful winter landscapes of Finnish Lapland.
During the journey, we travel through snow-covered forests and across frozen landscapes, surrounded by the peaceful nature of the Arctic wilderness.
What makes the daytime experience particularly special is the light.
In the middle of winter, the sun stays very low on the horizon, and during the polar night, it does not rise above it at all. Instead, the sky can fill with beautiful shades of pink, purple, orange and blue.
Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, you might experience a golden winter sunrise, a soft pink afternoon sky or the beautiful blue twilight that makes Lapland so unique.
The colours reflect across the snow-covered landscape, creating wonderful opportunities for photographs and simply enjoying the scenery.
Our heated sleigh allows you to experience these beautiful winter conditions in comfort, without having to stand outside in the freezing temperatures for the entire journey.

Our evening experience takes you through the same beautiful Arctic wilderness, but with a completely different atmosphere.
As darkness settles over the forests, the snowy landscape becomes peaceful and quiet. Away from the lights of Levi, you can enjoy the beauty of the Arctic night from the comfort of our heated sleigh.
During the journey, we travel through snow-covered forests and frozen landscapes, with the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights dancing across the sky.
We also stop at our wilderness location, where you can warm up beside an open fire, enjoy a hot drink and step outside to admire the night sky.
Unlike traditional Northern Lights hunting tours, our experience is not about spending hours driving from one location to another in search of clearer skies.
Instead, we focus on the journey itself, the peaceful surroundings and the possibility of seeing the Aurora Borealis along the way.
The Northern Lights can never be guaranteed, but we believe that an evening in the Arctic wilderness should be memorable even when they do not appear.
Why We Choose a Different Approach

We have also seen how increasing tourism can affect local residents. Quiet roadsides, private driveways and even people's gardens sometimes become unofficial stopping places for visitors hoping to see the Northern Lights.
We live in Lapland ourselves, and we believe that tourism should respect both the nature and the people who call this place home.
That is why we want to offer experiences that focus on enjoying the Arctic surroundings rather than constantly travelling from one location to another.

A Different Way to Travel Through Lapland
One of the things that makes our experiences special is the heated sleigh itself.
Our sleighs have been designed to offer a comfortable way to travel through the Arctic winter, with seating for up to eight guests and heating to make the journey more pleasant.
The temperature inside the sleigh is kept at approximately 10°C.
We deliberately do not heat it too much, as you will still be wearing your warm winter clothing. Keeping the temperature at this level also helps avoid a sudden change between the warmth inside the sleigh and the freezing temperatures outside, especially when we stop along the way.
This way, you can enjoy the beautiful Arctic surroundings in greater comfort while still being prepared for the winter conditions outside.
Pulled by a snowmobile, the sleigh allows us to travel through snowy forests and winter landscapes away from the busy roads and tourist areas of Levi.
Instead of watching the scenery pass by through the windows of a car, you can enjoy a different perspective of Lapland while travelling through its beautiful winter surroundings.
The journey is relaxed, giving you time to admire the landscape and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
For us, the sleigh is not simply a way to transport guests. It is an important part of the adventure itself.
A Peaceful Stop in the Wilderness
During both our daytime and evening experiences, we stop at our own peaceful wilderness location, surrounded by the forests and nature of Finnish Lapland.
Here, you can step out of the sleigh, stretch your legs and enjoy the peaceful Arctic surroundings.
Inside our traditional-style teepee, you can warm up beside an open fire and enjoy a hot drink while taking a break from the winter temperatures.
During the daytime experience, you can admire the snowy landscape and, depending on the conditions, the beautiful colours of the Arctic sky.
On our evening experience, you can step outside to admire the stars and watch for the Northern Lights.
It is a chance to slow down, listen to the silence and experience the atmosphere of the Arctic wilderness.
Small Groups and a Personal Experience
We deliberately keep our groups small, with a maximum of eight guests per experience.
We believe that smaller groups create a more relaxed and personal atmosphere, where everyone has time to enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed.
Our guests can ask questions, take photographs and enjoy the experience at their own pace.
We want you to feel welcome and comfortable, rather than being part of a large group moving quickly from one activity to the next.

Respecting the Nature Around Us
The nature of Lapland is one of the main reasons people travel here, and we believe it deserves to be treated with respect.
Our heated sleigh experiences use snowmobiles, so they are not emission-free activities. We believe it is important to be open about that.
However, by keeping our groups small, using planned routes and visiting our own wilderness location, we aim to organise our activities in a thoughtful way.
We avoid unnecessary stops in residential areas and do not rely on private driveways or random roadside locations to give our guests an Arctic experience.
We want to share the beautiful nature of Lapland while being mindful of the environment and the people living here.
For us, responsible tourism is not about claiming to have no impact. It is about recognising that impact and making thoughtful choices wherever possible.
Every Time of Day Has Its Own Magic
One of the most beautiful things about winter in Lapland is how much the landscape changes throughout the day.
In early winter, the short daylight hours bring soft colours and long periods of twilight. Around the polar night, the sun stays below the horizon, but the sky can still glow with beautiful shades of pink, purple and blue.
As winter slowly turns towards spring, the days become longer, the sunlight grows stronger and the snow-covered forests take on a completely different appearance.

You do not need to see the Northern Lights to enjoy the beauty of Lapland. Sometimes the soft pink sky above a snowy forest can be just as memorable.
What to Expect During Your Heated Sleigh Experience
We meet at our designated pickup point in Levi and take you to the starting point of our heated sleigh adventure.
Once everyone is comfortably seated inside the heated sleigh, our guide begins the journey by snowmobile through the snowy landscapes of Finnish Lapland.
Along the way, you can enjoy views of snow-covered forests, frozen landscapes and the peaceful winter surroundings.
During the experience, we stop at our wilderness location, where you can warm up beside an open fire, enjoy a hot drink and take photographs.
On our Scenic Day Ride, we focus on the beautiful winter scenery and the changing colours of the Arctic sky.
On our Northern Lights Evening Ride, we enjoy the atmosphere of the Arctic night and watch for the Aurora Borealis when conditions allow.
After our stop, we continue the journey by heated sleigh before returning to Levi.
The complete experience takes approximately three hours.
