About Arctic Verge
Arctic Verge is a small, locally run company based near Levi, in the heart of Finnish Lapland. We love the peaceful nature around us and want to share what makes this beautiful part of the world so special with our guests.
We offer unique Northern Lights experiences in Levi, including our Northern Lights Basecamp and Heated Northern Lights Sleigh Experience, as well as our AuroraHut accommodation on a peaceful lake surrounded by Arctic nature.
For us, it is important to keep things small and personal. We want our guests to feel welcome, take their time and enjoy Lapland away from the crowds. Whether you are spending a night in our AuroraHut, sitting around an open fire under the Arctic sky, watching for the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), or travelling through the snowy wilderness in a heated sleigh, we want you to experience Lapland in a way you will remember.

Northern Lights Heated Sleigh Experience
Discover the beauty of Finnish Lapland on a peaceful journey through the Arctic wilderness in our comfortable heated sleigh. Pulled by a snowmobile, the sleigh takes you through snow-covered forests and across frozen landscapes, away from the busy tourist areas of Levi.
During our evening experience, you can enjoy the peaceful Arctic night and, with a little luck, watch the Northern Lights dancing across the sky. Along the way, we stop at our wilderness location, where you can warm up by an open fire, enjoy a hot drink and take in the beautiful surroundings.
We also offer a Scenic Day Heated Sleigh Ride, where you can discover the same beautiful winter landscapes during daylight hours. Depending on the season, you may experience soft pink and purple skies, golden sunsets and the magical blue twilight of the Arctic winter.
With small groups of up to eight guests, our heated sleigh experiences offer a comfortable and personal way to enjoy the magic of Lapland, whether you choose the Northern Lights evening tour or the beautiful scenery of an Arctic winter day.
Northern Lights Basecamp – Aurora Experience in Levi
Escape the lights of Levi and experience the peaceful Arctic night at our Northern Lights Basecamp, located beside Lake Munajärvi in Finnish Lapland.
Surrounded by forests and beautiful nature, our Northern Lights tour offers a cosy place to relax and enjoy the Arctic atmosphere. Gather around the open fire inside our traditional Finnish-style teepee, enjoy a warm drink and step outside to admire the night sky.
Away from the busy tourist areas and with little light pollution, our Basecamp offers a wonderful opportunity to watch for the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, when conditions are right.
With small groups of up to eight guests and a relaxed atmosphere, our Aurora experience offers a personal and peaceful way to discover the magic of Lapland.
