Who We Are

Welcome to Arctic Verge, a small local company shaped by the landscapes of Finnish Lapland. We create personal and flexible experiences for travelers who want to explore the north with authenticity and ease.

Arctic Verge is run by Desley and Janette Sas. Desley, originally from the Netherlands, moved to Finland in 2020 to join Janette, who grew up in Sirkka and knows the Levi area as home. After several years working in a Lapland resort, we decided to build something of our own that reflects how we experience the Arctic ourselves.

Today, our main focus is aurora hunting by heated sleigh and our Arctic Aurora Camp experiences, giving guests the chance to find clear skies and witness the Northern Lights far from the bustle. Traveling through the quiet landscapes of Lapland in comfort, we focus on small groups, flexibility and authentic moments under the northern sky. As we grow, we are adding more activities that reveal the quieter corners of the region.

Based in the Levi region, we operate close to everything that makes Lapland remarkable: open northern skies, forest roads, silent fells and the shifting light that marks each season. Whether you are here to chase the aurora or explore the Arctic in a more personal way, we guide you with local insight and genuine care.
